🚀 Inspiration

I wanted to create something that could truly empower anyone — student, freelancer, or dreamer — to start earning through their passions and skills. With the rise of no-code and AI tools like Bolt.new, the barriers to launching a side hustle are gone. This project is my tribute to the bold new world where hustle meets technology!

🛠️ What It Does

AI Side Hustle Coach is a gamified AI-powered platform that helps users:

  • 🔍 Discover personalized hustle ideas based on their skills
  • 🧠 Chat with an AI buddy for tips, motivation, and feedback
  • 🎮 Play daily mini-games and earn XP & badges
  • 🎥 Generate personalized coaching videos using Tavus
  • 🌍 Explore trending hustles globally, connect with peers, and even hustle while traveling

All while tracking weekly goals in a fun, motivating dashboard.

🧱 How We Built It

The entire app was built on Bolt.new, a powerful AI-based no-code platform. Here's what powers it:

  • ⚡ Bolt.new – no-code builder and logic engine
  • 🔐 Supabase – auth, database, and real-time sync
  • 🧠 OpenAI GPT-3.5 Turbo – AI assistant and idea generator
  • 📽 Tavus – auto-generated hustle coaching videos
  • 🌐 Netlify – deployment and hosting

I also used TailwindCSS, Framer Motion, and voice recognition APIs for extra flair and functionality.

🧗 Challenges We Ran Into

  • Managing real-time user data and gamification logic without writing traditional backend code
  • Integrating Tavus with Bolt logic for dynamic video personalization
  • Keeping token usage efficient within Bolt’s limits while implementing advanced features
  • Making the UI responsive, accessible, and gamified for all device sizes
