AI Short Film Radiance Plan

Inspiration

The drama Radiance Plan is from my novel Intelligent Storm, and I am eager to turn it into a film or TV series. The advancement of AI technology has given me such a possibility, and I am very happy about it.

What it does

The drama tells the story of human development after experiencing the development of AI and the spread of viruses The explosion of artificial intelligence in 2023 has led to continuous breakthroughs in various cutting-edge technologies, completely changing the operation mode of various industries and human production and life, resulting in a great explosion of productivity. In the past decade, artificial intelligence has replaced humans on a large scale in almost all fields of work, and the role of humans as a factor of production has significantly declined. The traditional concept of raising children to prevent aging and passing on the family line in the East has rapidly collapsed among the younger generation, and the population of many countries has sharply declined. In 2035, the Alpha virus variant emerged and continued to iterate, causing severe damage to humanity. The second habitat exploration project, the "Light Project," originally scheduled to depart in 2062, had to depart one year earlier. After the departure of the Light Fleet, humanity on Earth faced an unprecedented virus invasion, almost extinct, with only a few scattered human remnants remaining. And the humans on the Light Fleet, due to their unwillingness to have children, had no living beings after 500 years of departure, with 1000 embryos preserved. The fleet continued to move forward under the command of the digital human commander-in-chief, Guoguo, who uploaded it to the central processing unit. After 6000 years, they arrived at Kepler-22b, but found that it was not suitable for human habitation. Therefore, they spent another 4000 years returning to Earth. At this time, there were still surviving humans in their primitive state on Earth. Fang Zhiguo began surveying and cleaning up the remaining humans who may have carried the virus, hoping to eliminate them and use embryos to breed babies for further development.

How we built it

I used various technologies such as AI video and AI music, and edited the work myself.

Challenges we ran into

The consistency between characters and scenes, as well as complex character movements, are the difficulties I encounter.

In the end, I learned while doing, relying on my own strength to complete this video.

What we learned

By making this video, I have fully mastered the technology of AI video production and editing, and can make a film with the power of one person and multiple technology platforms.

What's next for AI Short Film Radiance Plan

I hope to use AI technology to make my novel Intelligent Storm into a complete, 200 minute drama.
