AI Shop Manager
Inspiration
Many small shop owners still manage inventory, sales, and purchase records manually, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. We wanted to build an AI-powered solution that makes shop management simple, efficient, and affordable.
What it does
AI Shop Manager helps shop owners manage product inventory, track daily and monthly sales, calculate revenue automatically, generate low-stock purchase lists, provide AI-based inventory suggestions, and export reports as PDF files.
How we built it
We built the application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, with a backend for data storage and business logic. AI features were integrated to analyze sales trends, predict stock requirements, and generate smart recommendations for inventory management.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was integrating AI with inventory management while ensuring accurate stock predictions. We also faced difficulties in connecting the frontend with the backend and generating dynamic PDF reports.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully developed a working prototype that automates inventory tracking, sales calculations, PDF report generation, and AI-powered stock recommendations, making shop management more efficient.
What we learned
Through this project, we learned full-stack web development, API integration, AI-based data analysis, database management, debugging, and teamwork while solving real-world business problems.
What's next for AI Shop Manager
We plan to add barcode scanning, voice assistant support, multilingual features, customer billing, cloud synchronization, mobile app support, demand forecasting, and advanced analytics to make AI Shop Manager a complete smart retail solution.
