Inspiration
We like challenges and after our last hackaton we said we would like to try again and we are glad to be here
What it does
A platformer being randomly generated where the player has to tilt, duck and raise their hands to control the "runner" in the game
How we built it
We used a mix of Unity for game development, Google teach bots, web servers, Blender models and tenserflow to create this app.
Challenges we ran into
Building a reliable computer vision model, connecting the web servers, learned how to work with Unity for the first time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It works quite well for a game we developed in less than a day and we want to improve upon it even more before the demos.
What we learned
A lot about C# and Unity, Python, 3d modelling and web development tools, especially from each other and from the internet
What's next for AI Runner
Better graphics, smoother experience, immersive feel by adding legs and arms when sliding or running, maybe some powerups, try giving it the real experience of a game not developed for a day and abandoned after.
