Inspiration

For freshers, building a resume that truly stands out to recruiters can feel overwhelming. This very challenge motivated me to design an AI Resume Builder that makes resume creation smarter and more effective.

My AI Resume Builder helps users create professional resumes with ease. It collects all necessary details . The AI then refines the raw inputs into polished, formal language, highlights key skills automatically. In addition, it offers smart features like improvement tips.

How we built it

The frontend is built using flask and CSS for responsive, clean, and modern UI design. Chrome’s built-in AI APIs—including Rewriter, Proofreader, Summarizer, and Translator—are integrated directly into the frontend to process user inputs in real-time.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating Chrome’s AI APIs to process user input in real-time while keeping the app responsive was a key challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I successfully built a fully AI-powered resume builder that turns raw user input into professional, polished resumes instantly.

What we learned

Learned how to integrate Chrome’s AI APIs (Rewriter, Proofreader, Summarizer, Translator) and handle asynchronous requests for real-time processing.

What's next for AI Resume Builder

Next, I planned to add PDF and Word export, as well as auto-generated portfolio websites. I aim to enhance AI capabilities for better phrasing suggestions, job-specific tailoring, and multilingual support. Additional improvements include user accounts for saving resumes, mobile optimization, and analytics to provide insights on resume strengths and ATS compatibility.
