We were inspired by a recurring problem: talented individuals getting rejected by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) before a human ever sees their resume. Despite AI revolutionizing industries, job seekers still rely on outdated tools that don’t understand how modern hiring works.

That led us to ask: What if professional resume-building and optimization were accessible to everyone—not just those who can afford a career coach?

We set out to democratize resume building with a platform that combines intelligent automation, modern design, and AI assistance.

AI Resume Builder is an all-in-one platform that simplifies resume creation and optimization with intelligent features:

⚔️ Challenges We Ran Into

  • ATS Optimization: Balancing resume formatting between human readability and ATS parsing required deep research.
  • PDF Parsing: Extracting structured data from inconsistent PDF layouts was technically complex.
  • Real-Time Collaboration: Ensuring consistency and security while supporting real-time edits with Supabase was a key challenge.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimizing API latency, rendering speed, and UI responsiveness required thoughtful architecture.
