What is it
- ability for a computer/robot to act independently and 'think'
- can do tasks associated with "intelligent beings" - like decision making
- 'thinking' includes reasoning, problem solving, perception and language ## What I Learned
- ML and AI are similar but not the same
- AI is broad - computer ability to 'think'
- ML is more specific - give machine data and it learns from it
- Different kinda of AI:
- Narrow AI - limited
- General AI - similar to human capabilities
- Super AI - capable of exceeding humans
- Reactive AI - works in the present
- Limited Memory AI - can pull from stored data of past
- Theory of Mind AI - can comprehend complex ideas
- Self-Aware AI - has consciousness
- Applications:
- Speech Recognition
- NPL
- Computer Vision
- Early AI were taught games - used as indicator of intelligence
