We noticed that cooking can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re staring into a fridge full of random ingredients. We wanted to flip that script and turn cooking into an exciting adventure where anyone can whip up something amazing, no matter what’s on hand!

It conjures up tasty, personalized recipes that are easy to follow. From mouthwatering descriptions to handy allergen info and calorie counts, we’ve got your back for every culinary escapade.

How we built it

We built this project using Flask as our trusty backend buddy and MongoDB to keep all our delicious recipes organized. With the magic of Google’s generative AI, we crafted a recipe-slinging machine that turns your pantry into a treasure trove of meal ideas. And with a sprinkle of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, our frontend is as vibrant as the dishes you’ll create!

Challenges we ran into
