Inspiration: Each day with increasing workload of radiologists, coupled with the repetitive nature of reporting, inspired the need for a solution that integrates AI to streamline and automate report generation, saving time and improving efficiency.

What it does: The tool utilizes a background AI-powered Chrome extension to transcribe spoken dictation, intelligently fill predefined report templates, and seamlessly integrate the generated reports into existing radiology platforms for review and finalization.

How we built it: We leveraged Gemini-AI for advanced speech-to-text processing, incorporated NLP algorithms to map dictation to specific report templates, and developed a user-friendly Chrome extension to integrate into radiology workflows. Predefined custom templates were created to suit specific radiology reporting needs.

Challenges we ran into: Ensuring accurate speech recognition for medical terminology.

Mapping dictation to appropriate fields in the predefined templates. Seamless integration with various radiology report platforms. Balancing automation with manual editing flexibility.
