Inspiration

My inspiration was my personal experience as an individual with ADHD who struggles to study. I noticed using quiz generators helped, but none of them got it just right.

What it does

This quiz generator has a visually appealing UI, helping keep the user's attention and encouraging the user to retake the questions they got wrong, as many times as it takes to help them understand.

How I built it

I have some experience with Python, JavaScript, CSS and HTML, but have never built anything on this big a scale. I looked into using Flask as a server and decided to use Cursor AI to help me generate the code. I'd call this closer to a "Vibe Code" project than a hand-coded project, but it certainly would not have gotten completed without the knowledge to spot errors, either to point them out to the AI or fix them manually.

Challenges I ran into

My main challenge was my inexperience and feeling overwhelmed, but I got through that eventually.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm just happy that I created a product that I feel is worth submitting

What I learned

A lot. I never used Cursor AI before this, and I never used Python in this way. Almost everything was new to me

What's next for AI Quiz Learning

It'd be cool to expand its functionality a bit and perhaps make it a proper public website to help other neurodivergent people study. Or really just anyone who needs help studying.
