Inspiration
It all started when one of my friends was working on an eCommerce store. They had around 12,000 products with all the color and size variations. And, for that, they wanted to have product descriptions written. You already know the importance of product descriptions for an online store.
Both the search engines and the users should find a good quality content writer to write all this. At first, we hired an online company to provide product description writing services. They were very good at the work and we got the descriptions for more than 2000 products in a short span of time.
But, we had a budget problem as all the budget of that friend went into the setup of that online store. Though, the company was very much affordable and was even giving some discounts but still, we had to leave their quality work as we had no money left.
Thus, she reached me to have some solution to this problem.
What it does
It takes a seed keyword and a few other elements related to the product and creates a unique product description based on its intelligence. The description also revolves around the positive reviews that the product got.
How I built it
I just used some basic coding skills and libraries that help us use NLP to write content as close to humans.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We completed the project and created all the product descriptions that we needed. A special thanks to Content-Kart which helped us initially with some great descriptions to train the AI.
What I learned
Nothing new but the journey was amazing.
What's next for AI Product Description Writer
Not much as this was not a commercial project and only for my friend.
