Project Story: AI-Powered Social Media Mental Health Monitor What Inspired Us The growing influence of social media on mental health is undeniable. While these platforms help us stay connected, they can also magnify feelings of stress, anxiety, and isolation. We were inspired by the need to turn this digital ecosystem into a supportive environment for mental well-being. With artificial intelligence advancing rapidly, we saw an opportunity to harness its power to help individuals monitor and improve their mental health through the very platforms they use daily.

Model Accuracy: We struggled with achieving consistent accuracy in analyzing nuanced emotions in text. Subtle sentiments like sarcasm posed additional challenges. Time Constraints: Integrating advanced AI features within the hackathon’s time frame required prioritizing basic functionalities over advanced capabilities. Scalability: Developing a prototype that can later scale to millions of users required thoughtful architectural decisions. What’s Next?
