Inspiration
Many students, including myself, struggle to understand what is missing in their resumes, how to improve them, and which skills to focus on next. This constant confusion and rejection motivated me to build a tool that doesn’t just read resumes, but actively helps users grow.
What the Project Does
The AI-powered Resume Analyzer & Generator works as a complete AI career assistant. It:
Analyzes resume strengths and weaknesses
Generates short notes from resume content
Converts resume content into flashcards
Creates quizzes based on the resume
Provides personalized improvement suggestions
Rewrites resumes with ATS-friendly formatting
This makes resume improvement more interactive and learning-focused.
What I Learned
I learned how to design AI-driven workflows, extract meaningful insights from text, and build features that focus on real user problems. This project also improved my understanding of prompt design, application structure, and user-centered development.
How I Built It
The system processes resume content using AI models to analyze skills, structure, and clarity. Based on this, it generates feedback, learning material, and optimized resume versions. The interface allows users to upload resumes and instantly receive actionable insights.
Challenges Faced
Handling different resume formats and ensuring AI outputs were accurate and helpful was challenging. Another challenge was balancing multiple features while keeping the system simple and fast during the hackathon.
Future Scope
I will definitely work more on this project by adding job-role-specific analysis, deeper ATS scoring, and personalized learning roadmaps for students and job-seekers.
