We wanted to create a smart, AI-powered facial recognition system that simplifies attendance and strengthens security across schools, workplaces, and public spaces, solving problems like manual attendance errors and unauthorized access.
What it does
AI-Powered FaceSecurity automatically recognizes authorized individuals for attendance and access, detects unknown or suspicious people, and sends real-time alerts to authorities, ensuring safe and efficient monitoring.
How we built it
We integrated advanced AI facial recognition models with camera hardware, developed a secure database for facial data, and created a dashboard for live monitoring and alert notifications.
Challenges we ran into
Balancing accuracy and speed, handling varied lighting and angles, preventing spoofing attacks, and maintaining strict privacy and data security were key challenges we overcame.
