Inspiration

The hospitality industry struggles with labor shortages while guests demand 24/7 instant service. We saw HR teams lose qualified candidates due to slow screening, front desks unable to answer after-hours inquiries, and valuable meeting insights lost to poor documentation. With 89% of hotels planning AI expansion and the hospitality chatbot market projected to reach $2.14 billion by 2033, we built practical end-to-end automation solving real operational pain points.

What it does

The project provides three AI-powered automations for hospitality businesses: HR screening automation, a website chatbot, and a meeting transcript-to-slides system., It screens candidates in minutes, answers guest inquiries 24/7, and converts live meeting transcripts into structured, presentation-ready content.

How we built it

We used a visual automation platform combined with Generative AI models, cloud databases, and third-party APIs., Each workflow chains AI intelligence (scoring, recommendations, summaries) with automated actions such as form handling, database updates, email sending, calendar booking, and slide editing.,

Challenges we ran into

We had to design strict validation rules to avoid booking errors and inconsistent HR decisions., Handling real-time transcripts was challenging due to interruptions, topic changes, and partially answered questions., Ensuring data privacy and making the workflows understandable for non-technical hotel staff also required careful design.,

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created an end-to-end HR pipeline that goes from application to interview scheduling with minimal manual work., We built a hospitality-focused chatbot that can handle complex bookings and information requests within one conversation., We also automated meeting documentation by turning raw transcripts into structured answers mapped to predefined business questions.

What we learned

We learned that integrating AI into real workflows is more about orchestration and validation than just model quality., We saw the importance of using a visual workflow tool so business stakeholders can debug, adjust, and trust the automations without reading code., We also learned to separate information retrieval logic from booking logic to keep the chatbot reliable and predictable.

What's next for AI powered automated solutions for hospitality businesses

Next steps include deeper integrations with property management systems, richer analytics dashboards, and support for more guest channels such as WhatsApp and SMS., We also plan to add more domain-specific automations, such as revenue optimization and personalized upsell recommendations for stays and wellness experiences.,
