Inspiration
With the rise of online shopping, issues like high return rates due to sizing and fit have become common. Our project was inspired by the need for a solution that helps customers visualize accurate fits, ultimately enhancing their shopping experience and reducing returns.
What it does
Our 3D Virtual Try-On (VTON) project, now patented by the Government of India, is the world’s fastest 3D human model maker. It provides users with realistic, personalized virtual fitting experiences, boosting customer confidence, supporting sustainability, and helping brands reduce return rates.
How we built it
Using advanced AI and 3D modeling, we created a highly efficient pipeline that generates realistic human models in seconds. We incorporated deep learning and computer vision to ensure accuracy, scalability, and speed, allowing for seamless virtual try-ons.
Challenges we ran into
We faced significant challenges in balancing speed with model accuracy. Developing a system that accommodates diverse body shapes while maintaining visual realism took careful tuning. Overcoming computational and rendering issues to deliver high-quality visuals at high speeds required extensive problem-solving and innovation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
In addition to creating the world’s fastest model generator, our team is proud of securing a patent for this innovation. This achievement validates our work’s uniqueness and impact. We’re also proud of creating a solution that promotes sustainability and improves the shopping experience.
What we learned
This project taught us valuable lessons in optimizing AI for both accuracy and speed, as well as in managing complex data processing for a seamless user interface. Additionally, we gained insight into consumer behavior and the impact of virtual try-on technologies on brand loyalty.
What's next for AI-Powered 3D Virtual Trial On
Next, we aim to expand personalization by adapting to different skin tones and styles and introducing AR functionalities for real-time try-ons. Exploring eco-friendly data processes and scaling accessibility are also part of our future plans, enhancing this innovative product’s reach and impact.
