The idea

AI and privacy policies can be long and difficult to review. This project explores how to make potential gaps easier to spot, especially against GDPR and EU AI Act requirements.

How it works

PolicySignal lets users provide policy text or upload a document for review. The prototype highlights potential issues, shows scores and findings, and includes a way to compare two policy drafts. Its analysis service returns structured results, including gaps and suggested fixes.

Built with

The interface is built with React. The project also includes a Python and FastAPI backend, with Groq for AI-powered analysis. Document text extraction supports formats such as PDF and DOCX.

What I learned

Building this helped me explore document processing, API-based analysis, and how to present complex compliance findings in a clearer dashboard. The results are a starting point for review, not legal advice.
