"AI Poet" - An AI-Powered Poetry Generator App

Inspiration

I've always been fascinated by the power of language and the beauty of poetry. I wanted to create a project that could generate original poetry based on user input, using the power of AI. I was inspired by the idea of combining technology and art to create something truly unique and innovative.

What it does

"AI Poet" is an AI-powered poetry generator app that uses machine learning to create original poems based on user input. The app offers customization options for length, style, and tone, and includes collaborative tools for refining and editing poems. The AI is trained to understand the nuances of language and poetry, generating poems that are both original and meaningful. A perfect tool for poets, writers, and anyone looking to unleash their creativity and connect with others.

How we built it

I built the project using Python and several machine learning libraries, including NLTK and spaCy. I trained the AI on a vast dataset of poetry, using techniques such as word embeddings and recurrent neural networks to generate original poems based on user input. I also incorporated Gemini's collaborative tools to allow users to work together to refine and edit their poems.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges: One of the biggest challenges I faced was generating poetry that was both original and meaningful. I found that it was difficult to create poems that were not just random combinations of words, but carefully crafted works of art that explored universal themes and emotions. I also faced challenges in designing the user interface and incorporating the collaborative tools in a way that was intuitive and user-friendly.
