Inspiration I wanted to see if I could build something cool with just one single AI prompt—no long code, no complicated setup. When I heard about the Bolt one-shot challenge, I thought: “Why not try?” So I decided to build something helpful, fast.

What it does The app takes podcasts or essays and quickly turns them into short, easy-to-understand summaries. It’s super helpful for students who want to review content faster or take notes without spending hours. To make it a little more fun, I added a “Quote of the Day” feature to keep things motivating.

How we built it Believe it or not, the whole app was made using just one AI prompt. That’s it! I typed the idea into Bolt, and it helped create the app from start to finish. It really shows how easy and powerful AI can be when used the right way.

Challenges we ran into Trying to fit all the features into one prompt was tricky. I had to figure out how to make the summarizer actually useful, while still keeping it simple and fun. I also had to make sure it made sense and worked the way students would want it to.

Accomplishments that we're proud of I’m proud that I created something helpful in such a short time. The fact that it was made from one prompt is kind of mind-blowing. I also love that it can actually make studying easier for people.

What we learned I learned that building an app doesn’t have to be hard. With the right tools, even one sentence can create something amazing. Bolt made it feel like anyone even without a coding background, can build something useful.

What's next for AI Podcast Summarizer I want to improve it by letting users choose how long they want the summary to be, and maybe even let them save or share their notes. I’d also love to connect it with apps students already use, like Google Docs or Notion. There’s a lot more it can do!
