Managing emails, calendars, and daily tasks can be overwhelming and time-consuming, which inspired me to create a smart assistant to simplify routine work. The AI Personal Assistant enables users to schedule meetings, manage Gmail and Google Calendar, and add multiple agents such as travel agents, billing agents, or any other type of agent to handle specific tasks efficiently. Built with a React + TypeScript frontend featuring a two-column layout, the platform integrates seamlessly with backend APIs for Gmail and Google Calendar to execute commands and automate workflows. Key challenges included accurately parsing natural language commands, managing a dynamic UI for multiple agents, and ensuring secure API integration. Through this project, I gained valuable experience in React state management, API integration, and designing AI-powered web interfaces, while creating a functional and versatile dashboard. Future enhancements will focus on improving voice interaction, providing AI-generated suggestions, expanding agent capabilities, and adding advanced automation features.
