I noticed small e-commerce brands struggling with product photography costs. As someone with development experience, I knew AI could provide an affordable way to create professional product visuals.

What it does

AIPackshot turns single product photos into professional marketing visuals. Upload a product image, describe your ideal environment, and get studio-quality photos with realistic lighting and shadows in seconds.

How I built it

Built the platform with a React frontend for easy image uploads, Python backend for processing, and AI models for background removal and image generation. Continuously refined based on user feedback.

Challenges I ran into

Creating photorealistic results for materials like glass and metal was technically challenging. Balancing processing speed with image quality and managing costs at scale required significant optimization.

What I learned
