Inspiration

We started this tool because we noticed it's getting hard to tell if a computer or a person made something you read online. With computers getting better at writing, we wanted to make a tool that helps you see the difference. This tool is for anyone who reads online and wants to know who wrote what they're reading: a computer or a person.

What it does

It's a special tool you can use in Google Docs™. It checks text to see if a computer or a person wrote it. It's made for teachers, writers, and anyone else who cares about where the words they read come from. It's about making sure you know if what you're reading came from a computer's mind or a human's heart.

How we built it

To make this project, we used cool computer tricks and tools. We made a nice, easy way to use it right in Google Docs™, so it feels smooth and easy for anyone. We used smart computer programs to figure out if text was written by a computer or a person. And we made sure it all works fast and well without getting in your way when you're using Google Docs.

Challenges we ran into

We faced a few tough spots:

  • It was tricky to get our tool to work right inside Google Docs™ without causing any trouble.
  • Getting our computer program smart enough to tell the difference between computer-written and human-written text took a lot of work.
  • We had to think hard about making our tool easy and fun to use inside Google Docs™.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • We got our tool to work inside Google Docs™, and it works great.
  • Our tool is really good at telling if a computer or a person wrote something.
  • Lots of different people have tried our tool and told us they like it. That makes us happy.

What we learned

What's next for AI or Human - Detect AI-generated content in Google Docs™

We're not done yet. We want to make "AI or Human" even better by making it smarter and able to understand more about writing. We also want to add more features that help teachers, writers, and readers make the best use of what they write and read online. We're excited to keep working and make our tool even more helpful for everyone.
