Inspiration I wanted to create a music video that only used AI. You have your music AI for visuals and video.
What it does
I wanted to create a music video built entirely with AI. My goal was to show how someone can turn ideas, opinions, and stories into a full visual experience without needing traditional production tools.
How we built it
I used several AI video generators for visuals and Suno Studio to create the music. I started with a rough concept for the song, wrote and refined the lyrics, then generated the track with Suno Studio. For visuals, I used tools like Nana Banana, Midjourney, Kling, Wan, Hedra, OpenArt, and Freebeat AI. After generating the scenes, I edited everything together in iMovie to build the final four-minute cut.
Challenges we ran into
Lip-syncing was the hardest part. Tools like Wan helped, but I still ran into issues getting the timing and mouth movement right. Style consistency was another challenge. Different models produce different looks, so I relied heavily on Midjourney to unify the overall aesthetic.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
Creating a full four-minute music video in about a week felt like a big win. Before AI, something like this simply wasn’t possible for one person. Being able to express ideas, stories, and music without needing to perform or film anything was a huge breakthrough.
What we learned
I learned how different AI video models behave, their strengths, and where they still fall short. Working across so many tools gave me a clear sense of which platforms are reliable and which ones still need more development.
What's next for AI music video
The models will continue to improve. Workflows will get smoother, consistency will get easier, and longer videos will take far less time to produce. AI-driven music videos are only going to get more accessible, powerful, and creative.
