AI Music Player

Inspiration

We wanted to create an app that would allow users to listen to music in a completely new way.

What it does

This app is a completely functional music player that also generates new album art on every listen.

How we built it

This app was built using Python, with the Tkinter GUI module as well as the OpenAI API.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges with the core functionalities of a music player, which none of us had ever done before, such as simply pausing a .mp3 file.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the uniqueness of the concept, as well as being able to create a very clean looking GUI for the app!

What we learned

Most of our group had no familiarity with the Python language or GUI programming previously. We also learned to interface with an API.

What's next for AI Music Player

Our current version of the music player works well with implementing only one song. Our next update will most likely implement the playlist such as skip song and go back.
