I’ve always been fascinated by how movies help people understand themselves. RevenueCat's Ship-a-ton event was the trigger to finally start AI Movie Tracker, an MVP aiming to evolve into a full cinema therapy platform for self-discovery.🌟

What it does

AI Movie Tracker & Finder currently helps users find films based on their emotions and preferences. 💡 Using AI, it suggests movies aligned with their moods. While now focused on recommendations, its future lies in cinema therapy, with films tailored for personal growth and emotional healing. 🌱

How we built it

We built AI Movie Tracker using AI to analyze users' emotions and preferences. 🧠🔍 The backend runs on a robust database and API, ensuring smooth, scalable recommendations. Our developer focused on perfecting the AI to deliver accurate, personalized movie suggestions, laying the groundwork for future cinema therapy features.

Challenges we ran into

One of the toughest challenges was when our designer fell ill with a 38°C fever for four days 🤒, but still pushed through to meet the deadlines. ⏳ Despite this, we had to ensure the interface was bug-free and functional in a short time. Balancing illness and time constraints made it even harder, but we managed to deliver a solid MVP. 💪

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud to have launched a project that will transform lives through cinema therapy. 🎬✨ Our app will help people discover themselves and grow emotionally, using movies as a tool for healing and personal growth. 🌟 As Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."
