Inspiration

I have always found it annoying to gather news. I wish that there was a place where I could access all the news I want depending on the category. So I built this app.

What it does

It gives you a brief summary of the news given a certain category and keyword.

How we built it

I used Vue.js, the OpenAI API, and the NewsAPI to build this.

Challenges we ran into

The APIs were being buggy at times and were hard to configure.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of how we packages both the OpenAI API and the NewsAPI in a clean intuitive package.

What we learned

I learned how to call APIs in vue.js and how to use the respective APIs.

What's next for AI News Summarizer

It would be nice to also add the sources for the news and have a better UI.
