AI Mock Interviewer

Inspiration

During the interview preparation step, we always needed someoone to ask different questions, which is very similar to the actual interview setting. Given the ability of LLMs, which are highly capable of performing various tasks, why not they can put on the hat of a interviewer?

What it does

Based on the chosen interview topic, our bot asks questions and follow up questions on that particular topic.

How we built it

We used all the available elements in the voice flow. We first drafted the flow the user will be taken through, and converting this flow into voiceflow blocks was very easy.

Challenges we ran into

We were not sure how to have the memory of the ChatGPT across various blocks, and with the help of mentors we were able to remove that roadblock.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Builiing an end to end AI chatbot within few hours.

What we learned

Learnt to use Voice Flow.

What's next for AI Mock Interviewer

Build more complex interactions between various interview topics, better reward model on the number of questions that the user got correct to engage the user.
