What it does
Inspiration
Maps and satellite imagery contain huge amounts of information, but analyzing them manually is slow and requires specialized skills. We wanted to build an AI-powered tool that helps users detect objects, identify changes, and understand geographic data faster.
What we built
GeoAI Vision is an AI-powered GIS platform that analyzes maps and satellite images to detect geographic features and objects. It combines artificial intelligence with geospatial technologies to make mapping and analysis easier.
How we built it
The project was built using modern web technologies, GIS tools, and AI models. It processes geographic data such as satellite imagery and map layers, then applies AI-based analysis to extract useful information.
Challenges
One of the biggest challenges was handling large geospatial datasets and making AI analysis efficient while keeping the system easy to use.
What we learned
We learned how AI can improve GIS workflows and how combining machine learning with geographic data can create powerful tools for real-world applications.
