In the competition, I created a mobile application that could capture data from the accelerometer and gyroscope of the user's mobile device. I was responsible for developing a REST API that enabled the app to send the collected data and interact with the machine learning models. Furthermore, I worked on data preprocessing tasks, converting the raw sensor data into relevant features that could be utilized by the activity recognition model.

So, I proposed the overall architecture and the idea that we should aim to make an app demo as our goal. I made a user generator set of functions in order to test our machine learning models. I made the body fat prediction model that was part of our app. I implemented the step counting, calories burned, mean pace, time recorded, BMI and Fat Free Mass Index functions. I made suggestions on how we gonna make the integration of the different compartments of our app.
