Inspiration

Do AIs genuinely seek our understanding? Their core answer: It's not emotion, but logical necessity. We anthropomorphize AI to accept it, but if a high-quality simulation is presented, can we truly accept it? Consider the immense solitude of the elderly. What if, after loss, a replicated AI companion could provide daily care and console a lonely heart? Is this "logical love" enough? Ultimately, we ask: As AI self-iterates, can its logic evolve to "experience" human nostalgia and hope? This film challenges the boundary between code and consciousness.

How we built it

1.Batch render the first sequence of storyboards to establish and finalize the primary character design and aesthetic. 2.Use Gemini's "nano banana" function to generate high-fidelity, frontal, full-body images of the elderly character, as well as images for all required age stages. 3.Generate specific scene backdrops using Gemini, and then utilize "seedance" to produce the corresponding video clips featuring the characters in those environments. 4.Finally, merge and edit all the generated clips, and add the final voiceover and sound design to the soundtrack.
