Inspiration

   Preparing for interviews often feels stressful — most platforms give generic questions without real feedback. I wanted to build something that feels like having a personal AI mentor who guides, listens, and adapts to each user’s needs.

What it does

    AI-powered interview copilot that helps users master interviews through realistic mock sessions, voice-based interaction, personalized questions, and instant feedback. It also includes a built-in problem solver to improve coding and logical reasoning skills.

How we built it

    The project was built using React for the frontend and the Google Gemini API for generating intelligent questions, responses, and feedback. The UI is designed with a clean, modern interface to provide a smooth and stress-free preparation experience. 

Challenges we ran into

      - Making the AI respond naturally in real-time voice conversations.  
      - Handling API delays and ensuring smooth communication flow.  
      - Creating dynamic question sets for different roles and experience levels.  

Accomplishments that we're proud of

       - Successfully integrated "voice-based AI interaction", enabling users to communicate naturally            with the interview copilot.  
       - Developed a "dynamic question generator" that adapts to different job roles and experience levels.  
       - Implemented a "problem-solving module" that provides real-time solutions and feedback for technical questions.  
      - Designed a "modern, intuitive, and stress-free interface" focused on enhancing the user’s learning experience.  
     - Completed the entire project within the hackathon timeline, transforming an idea into a fully functional and interactive product.

What we learned

       I learned how to integrate AI with voice interaction, manage API efficiency, and design an engaging user experience that feels conversational and helpful. It also strengthened my skills in AI prompt engineering and frontend design.

What's next for AI-INTERVIWER

     I'm plan to add a leaderboard for peer comparison, a progress tracking dashboard, and more role-specific interview modes. We’ll also enhance the voice system with multilingual support and develop a mobile-friendly version to make interview preparation accessible anytime, anywhere.
