About the Project
AI Interviewer Pro was inspired by the difficulty many students and job seekers face while preparing for interviews without proper guidance or realistic practice. Traditional preparation methods often lack personalization and real-time feedback.
This project is an AI-powered mock interview platform that simulates real interview scenarios. Users can provide a job role, job description, or resume, and the AI dynamically generates relevant technical and behavioral questions. The goal is to help users practice confidently and improve their interview performance.
The application was built using Python and Streamlit for the web interface, combined with generative AI models for intelligent question generation and conversation flow. Prompt engineering was used to ensure the questions remain role-specific and realistic.
One of the main challenges was designing an interview flow that feels natural rather than a simple question-and-answer system. Handling diverse user inputs and maintaining contextual relevance throughout the interview was also challenging.
Through this project, I learned how to integrate AI into real-world applications, design user-friendly interfaces, and deploy AI-powered tools efficiently.
