AI Interviewer Pro

Inspiration

Hiring top tech talent has become increasingly difficult. Traditional interviews and resume-based evaluations often fail to capture true potential while consuming enormous time for both recruiters and candidates. We were inspired to create an intelligent system that not only understands skills and culture but also saves valuable effort by automating evaluations making hiring faster, smarter, and more efficient for companies and applicants alike.

What it does

AI Interviewer Pro is an intelligent hiring co-pilot that analyzes job descriptions, resumes, and GitHub profiles to create personalized culture-fit interview questions and detailed candidate evaluations. It provides HR with dashboards for document uploads, insights, and reports, while candidates experience seamless AI led interviews with real-time analysis.

How we built it

The platform is built entirely on AWS:

• AWS Agent Core manages runtime, browser, and observability for smooth performance.
• Amazon S3 securely stores resumes, and GitHub data.
• Amazon Bedrock's Nova Pro models power adaptive, multimodal intelligence understanding not only content but also tone and intent.
• Strands AI agents autonomously coordinate evaluation tasks, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accuracy across processes.
• The interface is built with modern frameworks, integrated with real-time processing and report generation.

Challenges we ran into

Ensuring fairness and accuracy across multimodal evaluations was a major challenge. We also faced complexity in synchronizing candidate audio analysis with natural language understanding. Building a seamless user flow between HR and candidate portals while maintaining data privacy added further depth to the challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have built a system that transforms hiring into a data-driven, bias-free experience. From auto-generating interview questions to analyzing communication and emotional intelligence, AI Interviewer Pro achieves holistic candidate evaluation — all in one platform.

What we learned

We learned how to integrate autonomous AI agents with AWS infrastructure for scalable intelligence. Our experience with Bedrock and Agent Core deepened our understanding of deploying multimodal AI in real-world enterprise contexts while preserving fairness and user trust.

What's next for AI Interviewer Pro

Next, we aim to extend AI Interviewer Pro with checking cooling period, checking eligibility, live coding rounds.
