InterviewOS AI

Inspiration

Interview preparation can be stressful for students and freshers who lack access to professional guidance. I wanted to build a platform that helps candidates practice interviews, improve their resumes, and gain confidence through AI-powered assistance. \

How I Built It

I built InterviewOS AI using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) with AI API integration. The platform includes AI-generated interview questions, voice-based mock interviews, resume analysis, answer evaluation, personalized feedback, user authentication, and a dashboard.

Challenges Faced

One of my biggest challenges was integrating the frontend, backend, database, and AI features into a single application. Debugging API errors, managing authentication, and ensuring smooth communication between different components required careful testing and problem-solving.

What I Learned

Through this project, I strengthened my skills in full-stack development, REST APIs, database integration, authentication, and AI integration. I also learned how to troubleshoot technical issues and turn an idea into a practical application.

Future Improvements

I plan to enhance feedback accuracy, expand interview customization, and improve the voice-based interview experience to make preparation more personalized and effective.
