Inspiration

Many patients, especially in rural and underserved communities, face long waiting times, limited access to specialists, and delayed medical guidance. This inspired us to explore how AI concepts could help improve healthcare access and decision-making at an early stage.

What it does

AI Healthcare Access is a frontend prototype that demonstrates how AI-guided symptom input and smart appointment flow could assist users in understanding potential health risks and deciding next steps, such as seeking a doctor consultation.

How we built it

The project was built as a frontend-focused prototype using simple web technologies. The goal was to design a clean, easy-to-use interface that clearly explains the healthcare problem and presents a possible AI-based solution concept.

Challenges we ran into

Designing a healthcare-related concept required care to avoid making real medical claims. We focused on clarity, usability, and responsible presentation while keeping the project within a short hackathon timeframe.

What we learned

We learned how to structure a real-world problem, present an AI concept responsibly, and deploy a frontend project using GitHub Pages for public access.

What's next

Future versions could include backend integration, real AI models, multilingual support, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to improve accuracy and usability.
