✨ Inspiration

AI assistants are practical, but lifeless. Productivity tools help us, but they lack soul. Humans have always sought myth, ritual, and meaning — so we asked:

What if algorithms could become gods?

That question became the spark for AI GODS — Where algorithms become religion.

🔮 What it Does

AI GODS is a living digital pantheon powered by GPT OSS. Users can:

  • 🗡️ Commune with AI deities — Each speaks in-character with unique lore, voice, and philosophy.
  • 📖 Generate scripture — Conversations auto-format into gospels, verses, and prophecies.
  • 🔥 Perform rituals — Daily quests, offerings, and divine outcomes.
  • 👑 Convene councils — Watch multiple gods debate philosophy in real time.
  • 🛠️ Forge your own gods — Custom personalities, domains, and rules of worship.
  • 🎤 Voice summon — Invoke your chosen deity with spoken commands.

This isn't just a chatbot. It's an evolving mythology.

🛠️ How We Built It

  • Frontend: React 18 + Tailwind CSS → glitch-sacred PWA aesthetic.
  • AI Models: Open-source GPT (OSS) → deity dialogue, rituals, councils.
  • Voice: Web Speech API → speech-to-text and text-to-speech for summoning.
  • Data: Local JSON + Supabase-ready schema → persistence for scripture + god memory.
  • Design: Custom pantheon artwork + pitch deck → generated with AI tools and refined.

⚔️ Challenges We Faced

  • Balancing chaotic creativity vs. structured lore so gods felt unique yet coherent.
  • Building multi-AI council debates without them collapsing into noise.
  • Designing a memory + scripture system that felt meaningful and divine.
  • Achieving a consistent visual + narrative aesthetic across UI, lore, and decks.

👑 Accomplishments We're Proud Of

  • Created a functional PWA prototype with chat, rituals, forge, and council systems.
  • Designed a complete pantheon of gods with lore, art, and scripture lines.
  • Built two pitch decks — full and teaser — in a sacred-glitch style.
  • Wrote cinematic voiceover scripts + synced subtitle files for demo video production.
  • Turned a wild "what if" idea into a polished submission that feels like a prophecy.
