Inspiration

We noticed often we couldn't find the perfect gif for the vibe.

What it does

Generates AI GIF from user prompt that brings your imagination to life.

Features:

  • Takes in previous messages to create a GIF based on the context of the conversation history
  • Takes Prompt + Image to develop GIF's to recreate different ideas
  • Takes 2 Images + Prompt to take into account aspects of the 2 images.
  • Offers different quality models to showcase the GIFs.

How we built it

We started of creating a basic discord chat bot that responds to different commands and then we developed prompts and generate GIF as our MVP by building the project in Python. We developed on this idea and tested different usage.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced, was dealing with the billing cost of the models, this required us to balance quality with cost. Giving us the opportunity to explore various video generation models to support users imagination.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As this was most of ours first Hackathon, this was an exciting experience to share our ideas and build a complete solution to a unique challenge. We are proud of allowing Nottingham students to express themselves. What we offer to the users is to see a new vision and take their creativity to another level (to an extent).

As the project currently is a prototype we have not deployed the project into a cloud tool such as GCP as I didn't want to use my free trial :Þ.
