AI GeoGuessr Coach

Inspiration

I want to become a great GeoGuessr player, so I decided to build a tool to help me with that.

What it does

Give people on advice on what to look for when trying to guess a place in GeoGuessr.

How we built it

OpenAI, ChatGPT, Codex, also the Chrome API Used Python and TypeScript

Challenges we ran into

Trying to figure out how to take a screenshot from Google Chrome. Honestly, I still don't know how to do it. However, I will still work to figure it out, or try another approach that might work better.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting motion on this project honestly. I was putting this off for so long, but because of the hackathon, I locked in. I may not necessarily have a working MVP, but I was able to make actual progress on this project that I actually have plans for, so I'm happy.

What's next for AI GeoGuessr Coach

Add more features. Specifically being able to track performances throughout time. Give drills that players can use to become better. Give advice not only on where to go, but also how to play.
