Have you ever had a goal that you wanted to achieve? Whether that be a personal goal, a new years resolution, or a career goal, WishMate can help you work towards that goal.

Inspiration: We were inspired by the recent passing of another year and thought to ourselves, why do so many new years resolutions go unachieved? Why do so many goals end up going nowhere?

What it does: Provides ways to achieve any goal, whether personal, career, or your new year's resolutions.

How we built it: Integrating state-of-the-art AI Technology from OpenAI and making our UI and input. We integrated OpenAI's API using their text completion feature and made a simple, intuitive UI for user input and our output.

Challenges we ran into: This being our first hackathon, we were challenged to create the idea, figure out how to code it, and learned stuff like how to link an API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Despite the struggles, the end product of WishMate ended up alright, and we feel that this program could help people achieve, or at least get closer to achieving, their goals in life.

What we learned: We learned lots of programming in all these different languages, integrating them all together, and learned how to be organized and present the program in a way that is understandable to most people.

What's next for WishMate: We plan on building on the WishMate project; this is a good start. We will implement more functions and abilities to eventually allow WishMate to become your go-to stop for problem-solving.
