Inspiration
We built LevelUp AI because we wanted a quick way to assist gamers instead of mindlessly finding niche solutions on reddit.
What it does
It gives real-time strategy help through a multi-modal setup: it can look at game screenshots and suggest tactical options, track live meta changes by grounding info from the web, and even help find nearby esports venues using location/spatial tools.
How we built it
We made it as a fast React app, using Gemini 3 Pro for deeper reasoning/strategy, and Gemini 2.5 Flash for quick visual analysis plus grounded retrieval.
Challenges we ran into
The hardest part was making the chat feel smooth and “live” while also running screenshot analysis and grounded searches at the same time.

Being able to complete this with teamwork and organization within a short 12 hour span required a lot of dedication and fast planning. But the passion towards our ideas help us still enjoy the process.
What's next for Ai-gaming-assistance
Next up is adding real-time audio coaching through the with Deepgram and Twelve Labs which are both innovative but currently difficult for my skill level to implement, making an automated video highlight analyzer that can call out specific mechanical mistakes and what to practice.
