AI FInance Tracker

Inspiration Managing personal finances can be overwhelming, especially with multiple income sources, subscriptions, bills, and spending categories. We wanted to create an intelligent and user-friendly solution that helps users take control of their financial lives effortlessly using AI. Our goal was to replace tedious spreadsheets and manual tracking with smart automation and insights.

What it does AI Finance Tracker is a smart personal finance management tool that automatically tracks expenses, categorizes transactions, and gives real-time financial insights. It connects to bank accounts or allows manual entry, analyzes spending patterns using AI, and provides personalized budgeting recommendations. It also includes alert systems for unusual activity, bill reminders, and monthly financial summaries.

How we built it We built the AI Finance Tracker using:

Frontend: React.js for a responsive, modern UI

Backend: Node.js with Express for API management

Database: MongoDB for storing user data and financial records

AI & ML: Python-based ML models for categorizing expenses and generating insights

APIs: Integration with Plaid/FinBox for real-time bank data (mock data for demo)
