AI Film "The Profession"
It is a story about a carefree childhood, reflections on a future profession, which later grow into a deep understanding of what is most important in life. The events of this story take place in the early 2000s in Ukraine. The idea for this film came suddenly while watching Ukrainian news about who Ukrainian defenders were before the war with Russia.
✨What makes this film special?✨
Human dialogues There are many of them, written by hand, well thought out, and they add dynamics and liveliness to the entire video.
Animation and voice acting by children As you know, everything is fine with adult characters in Google Veo 3. But with children, it is almost impossible to create anything. This is where the problems always lie: Veo 3 cannot animate children from images, and Elevenlabs does not generate children's voices. Therefore, it is really a huge technical task to bypass Veo's limitations. The solution they found was complex: in Veo 3, they generated the voiceover of a random boy from text, and then used the Pixverse lip-sync tool to overlay it on a separately created character animation.
Thoughtful music The video features covers of the following songs: NightCrawl - Lost Highway, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, Jfarrari Darkways - Blood Moon (Darkways Remix), College & Electric Youth - A Real Hero (soundtrack from the movie Drive). In addition, a dramatic melody was needed for the final scene, but Suno v4.5 stubbornly generated “some kind of dance.” The problem was solved by the obscure “Get Stems” function, which allowed the track to be broken down into instruments and the annoying drums to be simply removed.
Modernity The video took 5 weeks to make, but in the last few weeks, Nana Banana and unlimited generations on Kling came out. So I wasn't afraid and got busy, gritting my teeth and reworking the finished but “problematic” scenes.
