The education sector faces challenges like overwhelming administrative burdens on teachers and the lack of personalized learning experiences for students. Teachers struggle to balance grading and administrative tasks, which limits their ability to provide individual attention. Meanwhile, students without tailored study plans and regular revision tests often face disengagement and poor academic outcomes. Inspired by the potential of AI to transform these pain points, our smart system leverages Falcon 180B LLM to revolutionize education for both teachers and students.

What It Does

Our solution consists of two specialized portals:

Teacher Portal: Automates administrative tasks such as timetable generation, question paper creation, script evaluation, and mark grading. It supports educators in identifying and assisting slow learners, generates detailed student reports, and provides tools to streamline academic planning. Student Portal: Focuses on personalized learning by offering quizzes, assignments, AI tutoring, YouTube video summarization, and project idea generation. It recommends customized content, explains concepts step-by-step, and enhances learning with AI-powered conversational features. The system uses OCR technology to process handwritten documents, ensuring efficient evaluation, and employs AI for content generation, assessment, and recommendation.

How We Built It

We used a combination of cutting-edge technologies:

Core Model: Falcon 180B LLM for natural language understanding and generation. Technological Stacks: Python (backend), Flask (framework), HTML/CSS/JS (frontend). AI Features: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for dynamic content creation, GTTS for speech capabilities, and OCR for digitizing handwritten text. Database: MongoDB for efficient storage and retrieval of data. Platforms: Hugging Face Spaces for deployment.

Challenges We Ran Into
