Inspiration

The current pandemic has affected a lot of people. It will leave an enormous impact on our lives. In the current situation, many people could not visit hospitals due to the fear of COVID-19. So this inspired us to create a chat-bot and a website that makes an appointment for a virtual meeting with the doctor. So that the patients can stay home and get connected with the doctor.

What it does

AI-Doc chat-bot collects the data from the user and will book an appointment for a virtual meeting with the doctor by opening the AI-Doc website. If the doctor accepts their request then the patient can talk with the doctor. The website also contains a COVID Risk Calculator which predicts the risk of the patient.

How I built it

We made a chat-bot using Gupshup and connected it to the website. The website is made up of react and framer motion. Patient fills the form in the website and if the doctor is found in the prescribed department and location then he will get a mail asking for "Accept" or "Reject". If there is no doctor in the prescribed department and location then you will get a message like "Could not find a doctor". Included locations in the project: Hyderabad, Vizag Included departments in the project: ENT Specialist, Cardiology, Dermatology, Pediatrician, Opthompology, General Physcian.

COVID Risk Calculator: Our website also consists a COVID Risk Calculator which is built using JavaScript. We referred research papers to built this calculator.

I thank the deeplearning.ai for creating AI for medicine specialization. Through Their courses, we have done this project. Later our team is planning to extend this project by deploying models which can predict the existance of corona virus by checking images of chest x-ray and CT scan of lungs which were taught in the first course and based on the reports, We are planning to create a chatbot trained using BERT model for question answering systems.
