Inspiration

With so many Sustainable Development Goals to choose from, it's hard to know where to start. We decided to create this program to make a broader contribution to the goals by enabling more people to find their "best fit", so that more effective progress can be made in advancing each goal to completion.

What it does

By answering the meticulously curated questions, your responses will decide which Sustainable Development Goal you would likely relate to the most, and guide you to a resource where you can learn more about the goals individually. (See here: link)

How we built it

Using Python and Flask, we were able to create a web-based form that allows anyone to try it out! link

Challenges we ran into

Working within a 24 hour deadline was very difficult. We spent a lot of our time trying to come up with an idea, and ended up not having a lot of time to make it happen. When building the form, for some reason CSS would cause all of the buttons to morph into one giant blob. Removing CSS was the solution!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing a submission! Most of us were unsure if we would have enough time to show our contribution, but if you are reading this then we made it happen.

What we learned

There's a reason that the Sustainable Development Goals exist. We realized that they are large-scale problems that will require heavy amounts of time, manpower, and many different projects individually to conquer.
