Inspiration

Data science is booming career in the IT sector, hence to make it simple , more accessible and engaging to the individuals of all the skill levels, i have thought to create this project.

What it does

This project is an interactive tool designed to help users learn data science concepts effectively. This uses the GEMINI-PRO LATEST LLM in it, and provides personalized guidance , explanations and assistance in various data science topics. Users can ask questions as they might find it difficult to have a tutor to be 24*7 with them.

How we built it

I was able to built this using the tools : python, flask and google generative AI API. The backend server was developed using Flask to handle user requests and interactions. We integrated the Generative AI API to leverage natural language processing capabilities for understanding user queries and generating relevant responses. The frontend interface was created using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to provide a user-friendly and intuitive learning experience.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges faced during this project where to train ai model to accurately understand and respond to wide range data science queries. This involved fine tuning the model architecture where in system prompt is given in such a way it addresses only data science related questions. Additionally, designing an engaging and user-friendly interface posed challenges in terms of layout, usability, and visual appeal

Accomplishments that we're proud of

To have developed an AI-powered educational tool that has the potential to make a positive impact on the learning experience of individuals interested in data science. Our accomplishment lies in creating a platform that bridges the gap between complex data science concepts and aspiring learners, ultimately empowering them to pursue their educational and career goals.

What we learned

Through the development of this project, we gained valuable insights into the capabilities of artificial intelligence in education, as well as the importance of user-centred design principles. We learned how to leverage AI technologies to create personalized learning experiences and gained hands-on experience in building and deploying web applications using Flask and frontend technologies.

What's next for AI DATA SCIENCE TUTOR

In the future, we envision expanding the capabilities of the AI Data Science Tutor to cover a broader range of data science topics and provide more advanced learning experiences. We plan to integrate additional AI models and learning resources to offer a comprehensive educational platform for individuals interested in mastering data science skills. Additionally, we aim to incorporate feedback mechanisms and adaptive learning algorithms to further personalize the learning journey for each user.
