AI-Daptive Teacher

Inspiration

I’ve always been fascinated by the potential of AI in education. Many online learning platforms lack personalization, making it hard for students to stay engaged. I wanted to create a tutor that adapts to the student's emotions and understanding level, making learning more interactive and student-focused.

What it does

The emotionally intelligent tutor analyzes student sentiment, dynamically adjusts responses, and provides real-time AI-powered tutoring.

How I built it

Tech Stack:

1. Python - Backend Logic
2. Streamlit - UI
3. HelpingAI API - AI Responses
4. TextBlob - Sentiment Analysis

Challenges I ran into

I wanted to make the UI like ChatGPT, but it was challenging to do that with Streamlit. I researched on session states and eventually solved the problem.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

1. Building a fully functional AI tutor
2. ChatGPT-like Interface
3. Seamless API Integration

What I learned

I had not used APIs much in projects before, so this hackathon helped me refresh my knowledge and build something unique.
