Inspiration

I'm not a developer. I've never shipped a web app before. But I believe in the power of AI — and I know how many solopreneurs and creators out there feel overwhelmed, lost, or stuck in "idea" mode.

I wanted to build something that would make their journey easier. An AI Co-Founder that's always available, always pushing them forward, step by step — like having a startup mentor in your pocket, 24/7.

So I challenged myself: what if I could build a full MVP in 30 days... with no prior coding experience... using AI and Bolt?

AI Co-Founder transforms the startup journey into a gamified 8-level roadmap.

Users get matched with a virtual co-founder — powered by custom AI agents inspired by entrepreneurs like Alex Hormozi — and receive step-by-step guidance to:

  • Validate their business idea
  • Launch their MVP
  • Acquire their first paying customers
  • Build consistency and momentum, week by week

They unlock weekly tasks, chat with the AI co-founder, download tactical PDFs, and track progress — all from a single, streamlined dashboard.

How we built it

Built with React Native and Expo for cross-platform compatibility, powered by Supabase for real-time data and authentication. Integrated OpenAI GPT for intelligent conversations, Tavus API for AI video calls, ElevenLabs for voice synthesis, and Stripe for seamless payments.

The entire development process was powered by Bolt.new - proving that AI tools can democratize app development for non-technical founders.

Challenges we ran into

The 48-hour nightmare: Just 2 days before submission, Bolt.new decided to break completely! After React 19.0 update, my entire app became a mess of bugs, missing files, and broken components. What should have been a day of polishing became a desperate race against time to rebuild everything from scratch inside Bolt.

I worked till 3 AM every night for the last 48 hours, barely sleeping, completely exhausted but determined to restore everything. I couldn't give up because I truly believe in this project and its potential to help entrepreneurs. Those sleepless nights of debugging, rebuilding components, and fighting with broken dependencies were the most challenging moments of my entire development journey - but they also proved how much this vision means to me.

  • Learning React Native and TypeScript on the fly as a non-developer

What we learned

  • User experience is everything: Smooth onboarding can make or break an app
  • Mobile-first approach: Testing on actual devices reveals issues desktop doesn't
  • The power of community: Having technical advisors (shoutout to Claude!) was crucial

What's next for AI CO-FOUNDER APP

This is just an MVP built for the hackathon - I wanted to see what people think about the concept and if they find it useful! Based on feedback and user interest, I plan to enhance it significantly in the near future.

The vision: Create the world's most intelligent entrepreneurial companion that increases startup success rates from 5% to 50%.
