Inspiration
Civil engineers and structural designers often struggle to rapidly visualize preliminary structural concepts using modern Text-to-3D AI engines, while simultaneously verifying basic design code parameters (ACI 318M / AASHTO LRFD). We built this tool to bridge that gap instantly.
What it does
The AI Civil Prompt & Specs Generator is an interactive web-based tool that:
- Translates key structural inputs (e.g., Concrete Girder Bridges, Residential Towers, Post-Tensioned Slabs) into highly tuned visual prompts for Text-to-3D generative models.
- Automatically generates compliant specification summaries based on international standards (ACI 318M and AASHTO LRFD).
How we built it
- Frontend: Clean, responsive UI built with HTML5 and Tailwind CSS.
- Logic: Pure JavaScript parsing engine configured with deterministic civil engineering rulesets.
- Deployment: Hosted directly via GitHub Pages for zero-latency access.
What's next for AI Civil Prompt & Specs Generator
- Integration with direct 3D mesh preview APIs.
- Expanding code support for Eurocodes and SBC (Saudi Building Code).
