AI City Companion

Inspiration

We wanted to make exploring a city feel personal and story-driven, not like checking off a list. We wanted a companion for all of your adventures.

What it does

It creates customized city routes, tells stories about each stop, and tracks your Street Cred as you explore.

How we built it

We used the Gemini API for all AI logic and generated a simple responsive web app skeleton using Cofoundry.

Challenges we ran into

Limiting scope, managing map integration, and balancing storytelling with practicality.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a working demo that generates personalized story-based routes using Gemini and Google Places API. We were successfully able to emphasize user experience.

What we learned

We learned how to control AI output in a way that can be used in a repeatable way.

Refining personalization using user behavior, login, and authentication.
